WORKED EXAMPLE
A practical starting point
Choose 5000 × 5400, keep a 5% safe margin and fit your artwork inside it. The exported PNG has the requested outer dimensions; its print quality still depends on the source.
Before you download
Does this remove a background?
No. An opaque background in the original remains part of the artwork. Remove it before using this canvas tool.
Does the file become 300 DPI?
Canvas export does not set a reliable 300 DPI print metadata value. Pixel dimensions and the intended physical print size must be checked separately.
Will artwork be cropped?
The complete artwork is fitted inside the safe margin and centered.
