Preparing a large canvas on a phone
Work one image at a time
A 5000 × 5400 RGBA canvas needs about 108 MB for its pixel buffer alone. Decoded source images and temporary copies add more. Large batches can exceed a mobile browser’s memory even when each PNG is small on disk.
Use a suitable source
A tiny image placed on a large canvas remains a tiny source enlarged by interpolation. Check text and contours closely; a larger file does not automatically become a sharper print.
Verify the final download
Inspect the downloaded dimensions and transparency. Keep the source artwork and avoid repeatedly resizing it. If the browser runs out of memory, use a smaller test canvas or a device with more available memory.
Try the workflow
Choose 5000 × 5400, keep a 5% safe margin and fit your artwork inside it. The exported PNG has the requested outer dimensions; its print quality still depends on the source.
